My latest in a series of the weekly, or more often, summary of interesting links I come across related to Visual Studio.

Greg Duncan posted a link to the CodePlex project that provides a managed interface to Esent, the embedded database that ships with Windows.

The US ISV Developer Evangelism Team has posted a link to Microsoft ESP, a visual simulation platform that is used in Microsoft Flight Simulator.  Developers can write applications based upon this technology using the SDK.

The VB Team is asking developers interested in more Silverlight samples for VB to vote for it.

The Web Developer Tools Team has posted a new tip:

The Windows Powershell team announced that CTP3 of Windows Powershell V2 has been released.

VS2008 KB:  Hotfix available for Error message when you compile a Visual C++ project that contains the try-catch block but does not contain a brace for the function body in Visual Studio 2008 SP1: “error C2590″.

Recently added to Visual Studio Gallery:  StickyNotes Professional Edition.

Channel 9 Stuff:

The VB Team posted a list of new language features in Visual Basic 10.0 and C# 4.0.

VS2005 KB:  Hotfix available for When you try to save a style sheet in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the IDE may shut down unexpectedly.
